Adding More Pages

Step 1

To add a new page, you have two options.

Option 1.

Starting on your page, click edit and type in the name of the page you wish to create encased by 3/three brackets. e,g. If the title of your new page is “Angels”, type [[[Angels]]] somewhere on your page. This will appear on your page as Angels, creating a link to your new page when clicked.

Next click on your link, e.g. Angels, and a new page will appear with the words “Create a new page” with the title “Angels”. Then add your text etc. preview, when satisfied click save, and your new page is ready.

Finally, click Options at the bottom of your new page, then click Parent then enter your username where it says Parent page name and click Save parent page. This will add a line to the top of your new page saying,

"Your username » The title of your new page, e.g. Angels."

Your username will also be a link back to your page when clicked.

Option 2.

On the bottom of the left navigation panel, under the title ADD A NEW PAGE type in the name of the page you wish to create, e.g. “Angels”, then click new page.

A new page will appear with the words “Create a new page” with the title “Angels”.

Angels."

Your username will also be a link back to you page when clicked.

Next click on your username at the top of your new page and this will take you back to your page, then click edit and type in the name of the page you wish to create encased by 3/three brackets. e,g. If the title of your new page is “Angels”, type [[[Angels]]] somewhere on your page. This will appear on your page as Angels, creating a link to your new page when clicked.

Step 2

Once your new page is finished look on the left navigation panel where you will find under the title Subjects, a list of tags to specific subjects e.g. theology, sacraments etc.

Then click on Tags at the bottom of the page. In the space titled Tags type in whatever tags you feel best describes the subject area of what you have on your new page, separating them with a space.

When entering a tag to your page, if the tag is two words e.g. early church, it must be typed in as one word e.g. earlychurch. If you place a space between them it will create two new links, one being early the other being church. This would become very confusing with words like “the” or “and”.

If no appropriate tag exists, type one in and a new tag will be created.
